Significant as opposed to 'ICON' Architecture

Poorer Communities live in 'council houses' built in mass by the municipality with the cheapest material at the time. Since the exploitaion has not stopped, many of their children can't afford what their parents got when they were poor. Those who managed to climb the ladder of success can only afford to build a what a Building Designer would be allowed to Design for them ( not more than 500 sq.m). Since poorer people live in extended families, they plan the space to accommodate the larger family and 'functions', i.e. social gatherings.

Architects on the otherhand serve the wealthier community, most of whom live in nucleus families. The Architect's dream and scope is to reach the level of award winning architects, whose work was not for or in the poorer communities.
